educators and students in PreK-grade 12. PLT, a program of the American Forest Foundation, is one of
the most widely used environmental education programs in the United States and abroad. PLT continues
to set the standard for environmental education excellence.'
Project WILD
'Project WILD is one of the most widely-used conservation and environmental education programs among
educators of students in kindergarten through high school. It is based on the premise that young people
and educators have a vital interest in learning about our natural world.'
'Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) is an award-winning, nonprofit water education program and publisher. The
program facilitates and promotes awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of water resources through the
dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids and the establishment of internationally sponsored Project WET programs.'

Teaching KATE (Teaching Kids About The Environment) programs
are hands-on learning that correlate with the science standards
and use the outdoors as a teaching medium to bring science
and math alive. They are designed to allow student to develop
a sense of responsibility, appreciation, and stewardship for
the environment in a cooperative learning setting. There are
66 sessions available for downloading and to use with students.
Users have permission to use entire or part of lesson plan
to meet their needs.
